Yusuf has been on both sides of the struggle to strengthen America’s most vulnerable neighborhoods. As a teenager, he operated a network of drug houses before being sentenced to prison for 10 ½ years.
After his imprisonment, during the depths of the financial crisis, he became an unlikely real estate investor and affordable housing advocate. From a single two family house in one of Milwaukee’s poorest zip codes, Yusuf built a portfolio of over two hundred residential and commercial units and founded an award winning property management company.
Yusuf is a former president of Wisconsin’s largest apartment owners trade association and currently serves as the Bradbury Dyer ‘64 Executive Director for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Lafayette College.
He holds an MPA from Princeton University and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Mathew Pezon is a real estate entrepreneur, educator, and lifelong resident of the Allentown area who is passionate about creating opportunities through real estate ownership. After receiving transformative educational opportunities through programs such as Fulbright, he became committed to helping others access the knowledge, mentorship, and networks needed to succeed. He believes the benefits of real estate investing and wealth creation should be accessible to anyone willing to learn and put in the work. Through The Real Estate Lab, he enjoys mentoring aspiring investors, expanding access to quality housing in the Lehigh Valley, and helping people build wealth for themselves, their families, and their communities. Mathew holds a Master in Management from IE Business School and dual bachelor's degrees from Lafayette College.

Maksym is a student at Lafayette College, majoring in BS Computer Science and minoring in Economics. Maksym is a software developer for The Real Estate Lab, currently working on a Customer Relationship Management system.
